HOW TO USE RE-USABLE WEDDING DECOR IN YOUR TABLESCAPE

This year I want to take my commitment to reducing waste and being more eco-friendly one step further, which is why I’m introducing some re-usable wedding decorations and wedding styling products - available to all my Wedding Clients to use for free.

People can end up buying or making things for their wedding that they know they’ll never use again, like table numbers and signage. And that’s even before things like nameplaces which will most likely end up in the bin.

The idea behind my new re-usable wedding details is that you can effectively ‘hire’ these details - without sacrificing on cool design - use for your wedding then send back .

Modern wedding styling

I’ve played with a few different textures to create a mixture of wedding decor including table numbers, runners and nameplaces. The aim is to add some colour, texture and personality into your wedding tablescapes.

These decor details will be equally at home in simple minimalist schemes, or maximalist table designs. You can use them to inject some style into standard hired white tablecloths/naked tables and silver cutlery, or if you’re doing a dry hire wedding you can style it up even further with your own choice of linens, crockery and cutlery.

Bespoke wedding nameplaces

If you decide to use nameplaces sourced from The Joy Eclectic, they arrive in the post with all your guest names ready to go. The idea is that I can peel off the bespoke name element and use the base nameplace again and again at different weddings. You just need to collect the nameplaces up at the end of your wedding and ship back.

  1. MIRRORBALL WEDDING DECOR

Using mirrorballs at your wedding is a trend that I’m very into. They just evoke disco and party feels, and add a bit of retro glam and sparkle to any event. These mirror tile wedding table runners roll up ready to be couriered to anywhere in the UK. Matching nameplaces completes the mirrorball look. The silver mirror & black font are fairly neutral so can be paired with lots of different wedding colour palettes.

2. BLACK MARBLE WEDDING DETAILS

I’m obsessed with marbling my own paper and have done it for years now. Recently I’ve been exploring how I can use the patterns and textures I create in the marbling bath, in wedding styling. These black marbled wedding table numbers and nameplaces are the result.

The marbled nameplaces come with bespoke gold vinyl names. Just send your guest names to me via email in advance of your wedding day and you’ll get a set of personalised wedding namecards delivered to you. If you’d like a different font to tie in with your other wedding signage just let me know. Collect up once you’re done and ship back.

3. TERRAZZO WEDDING DECOR

Once again, I am still having a genuine love affair with terrazzo in all it’s forms! The real stuff, tiles, paper, wallpaper - the lot. So here’s my way to bring some terrazzo into your wedding design in this glorious pink and blue colourway.

Match table numbers with round nameplaces featuring your guest names.
