What is
The Joy Eclectic?

The Joy Eclectic provides set design, prop making, tablescaping, spatial design, decorations and styling - basically all the aesthetic and experiential details that are going to make people sit up and take notice, remember and FEEL something at your event.

Led by founder Amy who pulls in talented freelance specialists for bigger projects, we work on a range of events including weddings, collaborations with brands, company collaborations and our own artistic projects.

We are passionate about bringing joy, colour, creativity and a dollop of the extraordinary to everything we do.

Based in London, we primarily work here but often do other projects on a case by case basis.

The Joy Eclectic was founded in 2020 by artist and Director of Former immersive events company Lemonade and Laughing Gas; Amy Lord.

Amy has over 15 years creating and project managing design-led events and transforming a range of buildings and spaces, which have been featured in a range of national and international press including Vogue, Time Out, Evening Standard and more.

She graduated in 2007 with a BA (HONS) in Theatre and Performance Design from LIPA and since then has worked as an artist, then company director, producing artistic projects and events all over the UK and Internationally.

More recently she added an HND in Interior Design to her skillset which includes designing for commercial abd public spaces.
